Low-poly Elephant
thingiverse
I created this model using Blender while following along with the tutorial linked below: https://youtu.be/JjW6r10Mlqs This was my first Blender creation, and I highly recommend this tutorial for beginners who want an easy project. I had to pause and replay the video at a couple of points to get a clear understanding of what controls to use, but in the end, I figured it out. Two of the "gotchas" I encountered while working on this model were solved by removing doubles (i.e., removing accidentally doubled-up model components that kept some tools from working) and rebuilding normals (i.e., resetting the lighting on the model if it looked like it became turned inside-out). I recommend scaling the model up to at least 50mm in height before printing, and a few light supports will need to be added for effective printing (under the body, trunk, ears, and tail). **Tip me with Bitcoin at the address below:** 14U3VBvFWYwz5A6Rtox2PiWDfZFLFJpFtZ
