Low-Poly Chikorita

Designing a low-poly Pokémon is an effective way to showcase the poor graphic quality of the first Pokémon games. Therefore, I present to you the low-poly Chikorita, which is part of my ongoing Low-Poly project. This model stands approximately 5cm tall. The model seen in the image was printed using a Prusa i3 with a 0.2mm layer height, 0.5mm nozzle, and a print speed of 45mm/s, accompanied by a cooling fan – I highly recommend this setup! The material used is high-quality PLA with a thickness of 3mm. The design was created to eliminate the need for support material; however, keep in mind that each printer's settings may vary, potentially making it more challenging to print. The Chikorita model consists of two parts. By splitting it into sections, I achieved better printing results and also allowed users to combine different filaments. The complete file, including both the body and leaf, can be downloaded or printed separately with a different filament for each part.
