Low Poly chessboard

This chessboard was one of my first-ever 3D work models created in Maya during college. We had a reference image for each chess piece that we used to guide our modeling, as well as a standard chessboard that I modeled from scratch without any references at all. The chess pieces themselves are remarkably low-poly and completely untexured. Meanwhile, the chessboard is also low-poly but boasts a classic checkered texture sourced directly from the render node's 2D Maya textures. Everything was rendered using Arnold rendering technology.
