Low Poly Beldum
thingiverse
This is my low poly take on the Pokémon Beldum.\r\n\r\nCreated for the October 2018 Pokémon Go Community Day, as part of the ChapasSolidarias project.\r\n\r\nChapas Solidarias is an organization that sells badges to raise money for non-governmental organizations. If you want to donate them or get a badge, send me a message and I'll arrange it.\r\n\r\nNot familiar with modeling, so all feedback is welcome.\r\n\r\nNew model v4 has fewer supports and prints faster!\r\n\r\nFirst photos are of v4, others show v1.\r\n\r\nI printed v4 in FFFWorld FilaMetal with actual metal on it... Still processing it, but it looks good. Second photo is just-printed versus polished.\r\n\r\nCHANGELOG\r\n===========\r\n\r\nPlaying around with the model a bit.\r\n\r\n- v4.1 Geometry fix for v4: there was a hidden face causing the feet holes to print incorrectly in Cura.\r\n- v4 Has legs separated from the body; takes about 30 minutes less to print in my case.\r\n- v3 Is my first attempt at making the model almost support-less.\r\n- v2 Is a major rework of the model with cleaner lines.
