The texture is optimized for use in mobile games. The 10.5 cm leFH 18 was a standard German light howitzer used during World War II, adopted by the Wehrmacht in 1935. At least 22,133 units were produced for service in all divisions and artillery battalions. Designed in the late 1920s, the leFH 18 represented a significant improvement over its predecessor, the 10.5 cm leFH 16. Its larger caliber provided superior firepower and range compared to early opponents, but its heavy gun carriage made it less suitable for mobile use in horse-drawn artillery battalions. The leFH 18 was later developed into the leFH 18M and leFH 18/40 models. Starting in 1942, self-propelled versions were created by mounting the howitzer on a Panzer II or other armored chassis. The leFH 18 was also used to equip German allies and neutral countries prior to and during World War II.
