Low-friction Spool Roller for TEVO Black Widow Top Mount Spool Holder (85mm/120mm)

Low-Friction Spool Roller was designed to work seamlessly with the Top Mount Spool Holder, a clever creation of bdwalker that sits proudly atop the TEVO Black Widow printer. I had concerns about filament spools dragging on a fixed shaft causing the extruder head to bounce, so I came up with a innovative solution: a spool tube with rollers that can be used instead of a static tube. Low-Friction Spool Roller cleverly suspends the inner core of the filament spool on three rollers, allowing it to spin freely with virtually no friction. The 3D printable rollers were borrowed from Creative Tools' excellent Universal Stand-Alone Spool Holder**, even the shafts for the rollers are simply cut lengths of 1.75mm filament. Although the wall of the tube is strong enough to support any 1kg filament spool, additional structural support was added to ensure equal heat distribution and prevent warping or splitting when printing in ABS on an open bed printer. Flats were added to keep the tube from rotating in the cradles. It's designed to be printed without internal supports, although a Touching Buildplate or Raft is highly recommended. Printed using 1.75mm ABS in CURA v15.04.6 with Support at 10% and a Touching Buildplate with Brim. STL files are included for two tubes: 85mm and 120mm (the latter designed for holding wider 4-color 1.3kg spools). Each STL includes three printable roller wheels.
