This budget-friendly rotary adapter, suitable for laser engravers, is crafted from 4mm plywood and reclaimed parts from other projects. For a tutorial, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU9nrsXyCf8. The design incorporates four repurposed skateboard bearings, a NEMA14 motor with an EasyDriver module, and latex glove pieces to enhance wheel grip. With the EasyDriver set at 8 microsteps/step by default, the rotary requires 5120 pulses (or 640 steps) per revolution.
