Low cost DIY Rotary tumbler using robotic parts and printer parts
thingiverse
Hello friends, We decided to build a rotary tumbler using 3D printed parts. To accomplish this, we collected leftover robotic parts from my waste printers and the results are in front of you. This project is easy to make and cost-effective. We used a 100RPM geared motor with two gears. The rods are 5mm thick and have 626zz bearings attached to a 3D printed holder. Four bearings and four bearing housing units were required, along with screws for securing the motor and bearing holder. Two rubber materials per rod are installed on each rod, allowing the box to rotate smoothly without slipping. The position of the rubber can be adjusted so that any size can fit. Since all parts are separate, the size of this rotary tumbler can be easily increased. If you enjoyed our work, please subscribe to our YouTube channel.
