*** STILL IN DEVELOPMENT *** PROOF OF CONCEPT *** Current state: Almost testing the orthosis with motor. Posting so you can change ideas with me and see wrong things that I may not see! I'm studying Electronics Engineering and currently doing my Master's Project that is a Low Cost Active Knee Orthosis - LCAKO. As you can see reading the name, the main goal is to make the cheapest possible active knee orthosis. There are other goals such as the ease of construction and acquisition of materials. This proof of concept is aimed to persons whichs have a fully functional leg and the other leg with some knee problem. I'm trying to get the signal from smartphone when it is in the pocket so the orthosis know when to start. What is next: • Software development; • Battery Management; • Other things that I don't remember now, but I'll update as i remember! This post will be regularly updated as the current state when there are significant changes.
