Low-Bypass Dual Shaft Turbojet This was initally a design exercise I decided to do to test my new SLA printer (Anycubic Mono), but then it got slightly more involved! The jet has a cutaway in the casing to see the internals: LPC (inlet fan) HPC - 5 stage axial compressor Combustor - Annular combustor design HPT - single stage LPT - 3 stage (work in progress) Nozzle To demonstrate how the low pressure shafts and high presure shafts run at different speeds, I designed a planetry gear system housed in the turbine such that the HPC and HPT turn at 3 times the speed of the LPC and LPT shafts. Every concentric shaft is running on bearings which are modelled in the assembly.
