Lovers Lock
prusaprinters
<p>Designed to be possible to lock it only once. After that, it is not possible to unlock it without destruction. OK, it is possible using the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shim_(lock_pick)">Shim </a>technique, but that is for another topic.</p><p><strong>How it works</strong></p><p>The principle lies in the spring inside of a lock, allowing you to lock it once. See the cut figure.</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:28.05%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/289819/rich_content/474b1d4c-d57f-4e1c-9726-aaa6cbe0dcaa/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22e06c15a3-5b83-41fd-8ca0-c450e48daed9%22%2C%22w%22%3A744%2C%22h%22%3A670%7D"></figure><p>I tested to print it with PLA, 3 perimeters, 25% infill, and Shank printed horizontally. In that case it was almost impossible to break lock with bare hands.</p><p><strong>How to print</strong></p><p>The Spring and body of the lock can be printed together. Just use default orientation to make sure that the spring is printed from the side where is designed the support geometry for bridges.</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:40.58%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/289819/rich_content/17ab55a3-5a17-4c8e-9315-b6c08092af0d/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22d757f859-caa3-427e-bf86-58adad1ff350%22%2C%22w%22%3A845%2C%22h%22%3A594%7D"></figure><p>After the print, in order to release the spring from included support geometry, use a screwdriver.</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:25.35%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/289819/rich_content/a2514d92-382f-4390-9015-21c2fcabea23/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22f5dbb3dd-1494-4ab5-a1f1-0c6d1586361f%22%2C%22w%22%3A327%2C%22h%22%3A229%7D"></figure><p>Recommended print configuration</p><ul><li>make sure you use the material and print settings for good bridging</li><li>use max 0.2mm layer height</li><li>model is designed for 0.4mm nozzle.
