Love in Two Colors is a proud member of the 2019 Valentine Collection, featuring an impressive lineup of exclusive designs. The design of Love in Two Colors has been optimized for printing in two vibrant colors, but it will also produce stunning results when printed in a single color. However, we highly recommend trying to print it in two colors – and trust us, it's easier than you think! If your single-color printer allows filament changes mid-print, you can effortlessly create this beautiful piece. To get started, research how to pause and change filament mid-print on your specific machine. Once you're ready, simply pause your printer when it reaches 12mm of printing and switch to a second color to complete the remaining 6mm. If you own a Prusa with an MMU2 unit, you can skip the layered 3D model altogether. Learn how to use advanced settings layer controls to enable a seamless color switch at the 12mm level – it's a game-changer! Another creative approach is to print each top and bottom layer in a different color. To assemble the piece, apply a small amount of CA glue near the edges of the top layer, center the colors over each other, hold the assembly in place, and weigh it down with a book or two for a while – voilà!
