Love Hate - optical illusion

thingiverse

I've caught glimpses of these words/letters transforming into another word when viewed from a different angle. It's been on my mind lately, and I'm eager to share the process with others. After tinkering with Fusion 360, I stumbled upon the solution and found it surprisingly straightforward. Hopefully, I'll be able to create a tutorial soon for YouTube, assuming one doesn't already exist (I haven't checked yet). The basic idea is to extrude letters, match them up, and let the intersection feature do its magic. To make it look smoother, I like to add plenty of fillets. This was a fun and easy project that taught me something new along the way! P.S: I'll be printing this out on my SLA when I get back from my short break.
