Take the first step in creating something truly unique and share your experience with me on Twitter @DesignMakeTeach or on Facebook at Facebook.com/DesignMakeTeach. I love to discuss 3D printing, Learning by Making, and education with teachers, designers, and makers everywhere. Share your thoughts, ideas, and creations and let's keep the conversation going! This design prints seamlessly on a Printrbot Metal Simple without a raft or support. Simply place it in position, turn the power on, and let the print begin. With a few quick adjustments, your LOVE gimbal will spin effortlessly off the print bed with minimal effort. If rings are fused, try adjusting the filament diameter. Measure the diameter of the filament using digital calipers, then add 0.1mm to that measurement. Tell your slicing software the actual filament diameter and get ready for perfect prints. For example, if your digital caliper measures the filament at 1.68mm, let your software know it's actually 1.78mm.
