A Creative Experiment Takes Shape, Transformed from Concept to Reality. Conceptualized as a unique piece of art, the project began by importing a silhouette into Sketchup, where it was meticulously developed into a 3D masterpiece. The artwork then underwent a thorough clean-up and repair process using Netfabb's powerful tools, ensuring every detail was precise and flawless. Following this, Slic3r was utilized to slice the model into perfectly optimized layers. Once complete, the G-code was carefully submitted to the XYZprinter for printing, bringing the digital concept to life in a tangible form that can be held in one's hands.
