Loupe magnifying glass, LED, with rechargable battery. 3D print : 3 lens diameters 20-22-27mm prefabricated, "do it yourself" STL files are provided too for other diameters. Find a 20-30mm diameter achromatic optical lens. Thick lens needs no rings, for thin lense prepare a closing ring as well. Add 0.6-0.8mm to lens diameter. If it is tight, soften the PLA carefully with a hairdryer and push or glue the lens in position. Electronics : Li-Ion battery 502030 size or Ipod 5 batteries fit in case. A timer circuit drives the LED, the C1 capacitor is charged through the pushbutton, opens the Mosfet and holds charge for a number of seconds. Light goes out slowly as C1 discharges. 33nF gives about 10sec, 100nF 1 minute on-time. No-timer version: connect the LED , switch and 22ohm resistor in series to battery.
