The more visually varied an object is, the quicker it scans. This lounge chair, scanned with Artec Eva, stands out for its lack of color diversity and repetitive geometric pattern. In such cases, adding some texture can greatly enhance the scanning process. To add some visual interest to this scan, we applied a few simple techniques. We drew x marks on pieces of masking tape and adhered them to the seat cushion and railings. The masking tape is removable, both from the object itself and its digital model.
