The Comte du Muy and Marshal of France, Louis Nicolas Victor de Félix (1711–1775), is depicted in a 1776 marble sculpture by Jean Jacques Caffiéri, a French artist born and died in Paris in 1725 and 1792 respectively. The sculpture stands at a height of 80 cm and is part of the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, acquired through the Fletcher Fund in 1928 under accession number 28.193. It was initially scanned by Tom Freudenheim during a NYC Museum MediaLab Meetup 3D Funday event at the museum; the scan might have some rough areas due to its hand-held nature.
