Louet Flyer (S17)
thingiverse
Here is an updated flyer for a louet S17 spinning wheel that features enhanced design elements. The wheel now boasts a larger orifice, allowing your materials to pass through more smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, its enlarged arms enable better clearance around the bobbin, making it easier to manage yarn. To upgrade your existing spinner, you'll need to procure a 6mm rod available on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IK4O7KM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1), two M5 nuts, and two 25mm M5 screws. You'll also require a 5/8" wooden dowel to construct the arms. It's essential that you print the clip in a flexible material, such as ABS, for optimal functionality. For assembly, apply superglue to secure the rod within the body of the 3D printed part. When attaching the arms, utilize the slots at either end to fit the nuts onto the wooden dowels, thereby securing them firmly in place. To achieve the best printing results, I recommend positioning the face of the cylindrical part directly on the print bed.
