I borrowed a Kinect sensor along with a PC for experimenting with ReconstructMe software. Next, I have to acquire the Kinect device and make it work on my Mac system. After getting everything set up, I need to sit in a chair and spin around for capturing the 3D scans. Once done, I can proceed with cleaning and editing the files using Blender, MeshLab, and NefFabb before finally printing out the desired object.
