The plastic casing encircles the interior door release handle to securely fasten the leather panel. In case yours is misplaced, that's your story to tell. If you are familiar with these components, you already know their functionality. To eliminate the need for raft support on the raised snap, I have updated the file. However, I discovered my lost part so haven't tested it. Please ensure dimensions are accurate; if not, create a new "Thing" or inform me for modifications.
