**Disclaimer: Use manufacturer parts whenever possible. These are, as always, make and use at your own risk.** Like many older cars, some parts are becoming hard to find. Also, honestly I am impatient and have a 3D printer specifically for things like this. These parts are for the wing mirrors of the Lotus Esprit SE, specifically my 1990. I believe these mirrors were on the cars from 88-92 but unsure if they were used on the S4's and on. The parts I needed to make are as follows Mirror gasket : Body -> Base Plate Mirror gasket : Base Plate -> Stalk Mirror Stalk Cover : Split w/clip -*Do not need to remove mirror to install* Mirror locking base Plate Mirror locking base Plate ring : RH and LH - *Important for clearance* The gaskets were printed with a 90a TPU as they need to be firm but a little soft and flexible and you probably do not want to damage your paint. For the hard parts I highly recommend using ABS or PolyC or similar durable material. Nylon or PETG may work but I was concerned about potential warping in warmer temps so I did my parts in ABS. Specifically Atomic Filaments Carbon ABS. I do have some NylonG and may try with that later on. Gaskets were printed on a modified Ender 3 w/ .4 nozzle and .2 layer height in TPU Hard parts were printed on a Voron 2.4 w/ .5 nozzle at .15 layer height in Carbon ABS Print with supports, especially for the mirror plate. The bottom doesn't need to be too clean but support material can interfere with the plate seating on the motor platform and the ring channel needs to be smooth and accurate. Tolerances are important and you printer should be well calibrated. If your tolerances are off, the lock ring may not seat or rotate properly. Things should be just snug. While the parts uploaded are currently fitted to my mirrors and seem to function as expected, I may still tweak the models a bit. *Update Nov 2021 - Car is back together and mirrors are functioning as they should with what seems to be full range of movement. It does not look like I need any additional modifications or possible adjustments to the mounting plate angle and so I removed the "Work in Progress" moniker. I did upload some mounting plates with an additional tilt. The thought was to aid in widening the viewing angle to better see the blind spot but find the flat plates are working fine for me so I have not tested them. They are marked RH(right hand) and LH(left hand) if you would like to give them a try.
