Lotus Elise S2 binnacle scan
thingiverse
Captured on a Creality CR Scan 01, this scan of the gauge cluster binnacle is a bit rough. I also included a replacement tab to attach to the other plastic steering wheel surround piece that is inevitably broken during removal (see photo for repaired part). One of the photos is a transparent background PNG trace of the binnacle opening, as a reference for preparing other pieces that fit against the inner part of the binnacle. In order to use this part for 3D printing, open the STL mesh in meshmixer, highlight the part using the 'select' tool, and in the popup menu select 'edit-> offset' and input a negative number (ex. -3mm) to add thickness below the scanned surfaces.
