Lotus Elise/Exige Front Speaker Delete Plate
thingiverse
A sleek plate when front speakers are removed (streamlining!). Featuring a subtle Lotus logo shape that resists windshield reflection and facilitates effortless cleaning, it adds a touch of visual interest beyond a flat design. Secure it with standard speaker screws for a seamless integration. To enhance its finished look, I employed screw covers from my local auto parts store. When printed in PLA, the plate may sag if exposed to extremely high temperatures. To avoid this issue, I opted to have it produced by Shapeways after verifying its design, utilizing a higher-temperature plastic that surpasses my home printing capabilities.
