Lotus Box

This is the Lotus Box. It's still a work in progress, but so far, it's been a fun experience to work on because it's the first time I've ever attempted to combine engineering with art. The Lotus Box's primary function is as a jewelry holder, with moving leaves enclosing and locking the jewelry inside. There's a large gear in the middle that, when rotated, turns six smaller gears, which in turn move the leaves from an open position to a closed position. The final version of this will be motorized and will have a locking feature. I'll be sure to update this one in the future.
