Lost Cities: The Board Game Box Organizer
thingiverse
Lost Cities is a fast and easy game to teach others, but separating different tiles and coins each time I took it out of the box drove me crazy. I decided to design a single organizer that stores all pieces easily and fits within the stock box opening. The lid features a 0.15mm reveal on all sides. You may need to adjust the size (scale X and Y up by 1-2% while leaving Z at 100%) if your printer has tolerance issues. All walls are slightly thicker than necessary, but they ensure that you can print with two or three perimeters without gaps or small voids in the walls when using a standard 0.4mm nozzle. The cover file is different from what's shown in test print images. I removed the "the board game" text from the logo because it's not needed, and made the first few layers more difficult to print accurately due to small islands on the print bed. This design does not leave enough space in the card areas for sleeved cards. I only have one copy of this game as published by Kosmos, so I can't be certain that all pieces fit from previous versions.
