This straightforward circuit incorporates a buzzer, power supply, and a standard microswitch featuring an extended blade (which I previously referred to as a "whisker" in robot applications). Strategically placed at the back of a Makerbot, beneath the guide tube, this setup will activate if the filament ceases pressing on the switch.
