This mounting adapter allows users to securely attach a tripod head and one or two telescope accessories, such as a red dot finder or guide scope, to their Losmandy-compatible mount with ease. Simply fasten the single or double accessory mount in place using 4-40 screws and secure the tripod head with a 1/2-inch long 1/4-20 hex bolt. Some tripod heads may require an adapter from 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 threads, but users can modify the provided files to accommodate their specific needs. The original Designspark .rsdoc file is included and can be used with the free Designspark software to customize the design as needed. To avoid damaging the mount's jaws, it's essential to apply a moderate clamping force; over-tightening may cause damage due to its non-metallic construction.
