I recently put the DBXL to the test in a wet environment and discovered its "waterproof" claim wasn't quite true. A small splash was enough to flood the engine with water, turning my day upside down. To combat this issue, I designed a guard that shields the top half of the filter from splashes while maintaining a 1/4 inch air gap all around to ensure airflow isn't hindered.
