This 3D model of Los Angeles LAX Airport, USA is based on real data for a realistic representation and includes four main object groups: Buildings, Road Network, Public Transport, and Aeroway. The Buildings group can be customized with three different setup options, while the Road Network features two objects including roads and other areas. Public Transport consists of two objects representing transport lines and stations/stops, and the Aeroway includes road network for airplanes such as runways, airstrips, and parking areas. The model is UV mapped with overlapping UVs, has no textures included but colors are set by materials (which can be changed in any 3D software), and is positioned on a flat surface without elevation data. Geometry consists of polygonal quads and tris, making it untextured and fast to render. This model can be licensed for commercial use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 (CC-BY-SA) license, with building and street data sourced from OpenStreetMap (www.openstreetmap.org).
