Lorex LNB3143R Camera Lens Face Shim/Spacer

I swapped out the lens on my LNB3143R camera from Lorex/Dahua for a zoom lens and quickly realized it was too long for the face/cover to shut properly! Clearly, I needed some kind of spacer and longer screws right away. To get started, I scanned the area around the camera on a flatbed scanner and used the resulting image to model up the DXF in Fusion 360 with precision. Next, I cut out the custom part using one of my reliable laser cutters. Additionally, I cut a gasket from neoprene rubber to ensure a tight seal against the elements. To prevent moisture buildup inside the camera, I also added extra desiccant for good measure.
