Simple spring to attach to XMachines Lorei lead screw for minimizing Z-Axis backlash. Installation: 1. Locate a suitable spring that fits snugly over the leadscrew, without being overly stiff. 2. Elevate the extruders so that the spring protrudes above the top of the lead screw, allowing it to maintain the desired tension when lowered to level with the lead screw's top surface. 3. Remove the two screws from the top sheetmetal enclosure. 4. Position the backlash spring on top of the lead screw, aligning its tabs with the rail's slots and its threaded hole with the leadscrew. 5. Gradually lower the extruders while maintaining pressure on the backlash spring; it should secure itself and begin to follow the extruders downward. 6. Replace the screws on the top sheetmetal enclosure.
