A direct spawn of Melwyn, descended from the Wrathful Spirit’s own soul. Torgothrin aims to continue where his father failed, and ensure the eradication of all humans near the lands of the Reach and the Fringe comes to pass. The means he has taken to get there however have fallen to methods not even his father would have considered. Torgothrin was a child spawned by Melwyn to aid him in corralling the creatures of the Reach to aid in the fight against Man. Owlbears, Treants and other creatures came to his aid as watchers of the forest, and to him they became bound. Thus Torgothrin was like a general to Melwyn, more than a son. But he saw the errors of his father, for he was overcame by hatred and anger. Torgothrin hated the humans alike, but worked against him with a calculated malice. So when Melwyn was lost, Torgothrin took his father’s mantle as the Lord of the Fey in the Reach. Slowly over the last year he has weaved his wicked plan to begin driving Men from the borders of his kingdom, destroying their towns and ravaging their livestock and farms. A great illness he has set upon them, and from the illness comes a violent storm in the dying throes of the afflicted. Even Gwynevel is unaware of how deep her nephew's treachery runs, as at face value he feigned acceptance of his father’s death and the end of their plight against humans unless Men were to try further destroy their homeland. Torgothrin however will not be satisfied until Fringe and Reach are made whole again: one single forest unending in both Fey and Tharador.
