Lord of The Rings - Witch King Helm (lifesize)
thingiverse
I broke down the head piece into three separate files so that it would fit on the bed of my CR-10, allowing me to create a full-size wearable version scaled up 3440%. In retrospect, I could have left some of the middle spike on the forehead intact. This might be useful for someone else, or you can use meshmixer to cut the front and back apart, scale it up, but leave the spike in place. I'll add pictures when I'm finished with this project, but that may take a while since I'll be gluing, glassing, and then painting the helm to complete it. I attempted to modify the files to make these changes, but unfortunately, I didn't have the necessary skills to do so using meshmixer. The modifications I plan to make during the bondo step of the process include: Increasing height as the spike tapers off towards the rim of the helm Making the bottom spikes more substantial like those on the movie prop Enhancing the head spikes similar to the movie prop Raising the ridge on the cheek area Adding a square end to the inside of the eye pieces Shaving down the inner model slightly for extra room around my cheeks Curving the two spikes inward towards the mouth area slightly upward and making them larger Straightening out the end of the spike as it curves forward in the original model
