Lord Nibbler Articulated
thingiverse
Lord Nibbler stands roughly 1 1/2" tall with articulable arms, legs, head, and removable cape. His next addition will be a spaceship soon to match his sitting abilities. This character required many iterations and trial runs to perfect its reliability. Instructions are provided as the figure was crafted with meticulous care. In fact, Lord Nibbler is not just fun to make; he's also articulated enough to comfortably sit inside his new spaceship. Unfortunately, my printer has encountered an issue and won't function properly until it can be resolved. In testing the model without a 3D printer, slight alterations were made to verify reliability before proceeding further with this design. However, potential users are asked to provide feedback if issues arise as modifications could become necessary. To guarantee print quality for Lord Nibbler's head, position his face in the Z direction as it has printed out most successfully so far. Recommendations also suggest adding a brim while printing; especially since small details, such as body half joints holding legs, might fall off without sufficient support during assembly. A separate set of instructions are required to effectively complete these delicate sections and make certain proper connection is maintained among its numerous articulable pieces. Unfortunately, an unsatisfactory result for Lord Nibbler's cape means users will need to apply supports. Supports become necessary in printing the cape as it demands sufficient anchorage points nearby, around neck regions which might detach if insufficient attachment was provided initially while handling assembly stages separately during disengagement procedures for any accidental breakages encountered due unforeseen manufacturing imperfections encountered through process variability within individual printing settings that can create defects not yet discovered via experimental evaluations prior final releases.
