Lorbass 0.2 FPV Racing Frame
thingiverse
Lorbass FPV Racingframe I want to share my own Racingframe. I'm not a professional FPV Racer, but I like competitive gate flying. Currently all new Frames out there fits only 20x20 mm hardware. I like 30.5x30.5 mm stacks more. This Frame fits both. There is enough space for both and maybe also the HD-System of your choice. This Frame weights 68g with standoffs and necessary screws (not Aluminium). The Stack is decentralized. A leftover from the vertical arm era. Parts you need: Carbonfiber 4x M3x10mm Buttonhead 4x M3x14mm Buttonhead 4x M3x6mm Buttonhead 4x M3 Selflock Nuts 4x 25 mm Standoffs 4x M3 Flattop for stack mounting. Legth of your choice Baseplate: 2mm Carbonfiber with beveled holes for flat screws to mount the Hardwarestack. Topplate: 2mm Carbonfiber to mount a flip stick and mount a IRC Ghost antenna. Baseplate: 2mm Carbonfiber Arms: 5mm Carbonfiber. The holes at the end was a part of a Side force generator but there was no benefits for the extra weight. The parts inside the frame near the screwholes are slightly to long. It is important that these parts touch each other. Maybe you have to grind this parts a little for a perfect fit. Brace: 4mm Carbonfiber. This part is not necessary but specially for training a usefull thing. TPU Spacer: Since 0.2 not necessary anymore. Other TPU parts: For your choice. Feel free to design own and new parts. Pleas at these parts to thingiverse to. Changelog: 0.1: Was not released on thingiverse but the parts are in the .step file. It was some kind of puzzle style arm mounting. This design was not so durable. 0.2: Changed Arm Design. No Puzzel design anymore. More durability. 18.06.22: Added Photos of my Summer 22 build. 03.09.22: Added more durable Arm.
