LoPy4 Full Size Enclosure
thingiverse
This is an updated version of my LoPy4 Enclosure, designed with more space for batteries and possibly other sensor circuitry. Unlike the compact version, this one includes room for additional components. I took inspiration from the ThingsNetwork Gateway enclosure when designing this one. I wanted to create a stylish case for my LoPy4s to be displayed around the apartment. **Change log:** * May 27, 2019 - Later that day... The LiPo battery was relocated underneath the Expansion Board. This modification led to the addition of a carrier plate, resulting in a neater overall appearance. The assembly was shifted to the center and moved down in the enclosure, freeing up space for an adhesive breadboard above the Expansion Board. A hole was also added at the bottom to accommodate a USB cable that can pass through and connect to the LoPy4. * May 27, 2019 - The main part of the enclosure was printed and posted, along with a photo showing the enclosure's design. However, the antenna hole proved too large for the PyCom antenna, so I inserted a washer as a temporary solution. The design will be adjusted accordingly. Printing the lid is now in progress.
