Loose / Sample Filament Can
thingiverse
Hi Guys! I recently started using some sample filament, but I had a problem getting it to stay on a spool. After talking to friends who were having the same issue, I decided to design something in Tinkercad. It's a can that you put your loose filament into and place on a spool holder. So far, it's working well for me, so I thought I'd share the files. The original size is 140 mm, but I imagine it could be scaled up or down depending on your printer. https://youtu.be/atSu8JuZe8s Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech MeCreator2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 20% Notes: Print with supports everywhere, both the lid and can have areas above the printed area that require supports.
