Check out my latest project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... Hi everyone! I've been experimenting with some test filament lately, but I was having trouble keeping it organized on a spool. It turns out I'm not alone - several friends of mine were experiencing the same issue. Determined to find a solution, I took to Tinkercad and designed this nifty can. Simply place your loose filament inside and attach it to a spool holder. So far, so good! I've been using it with my Geeetech MeCreator2 printer, and it's working like a charm. I've included the files for you to try out yourself - feel free to scale them up or down to suit your printer's needs. Here are the print settings I used: Printer: Geeetech MeCreator2 Rafts: None Supports: Yes (essential for a smooth finish) Resolution: 0.15 mm Infill: 20% Remember, be sure to print with supports in place - both the lid and can require them above the printed area. Files available on YouTube - happy printing!
