Loopy (a tessellation)

Many people adore tessellations, and I'm one of them! Designing them is an absolute joy, and it's even more thrilling to experiment with physical versions after they're made. In my previous career, I was fortunate enough to do this, which brought in some extra income, but the true value lay in witnessing the delight these creations bring to others! During that time, I would laser-cut tessellations from translucent acrylic in various colors. However, for now, I'm limited to 3D printing. Being under lockdown has rekindled my interest in them, and here's the first one of 2020 that caught my attention. I believe it's a reasonable challenge to have printed a few 3D tessellations and tested their effectiveness! I've added two designs: one with holes (designed as a continuous outline) and another without any openings. Feel free to print (or laser-cut, etc.) several of either or both designs and share your experiences!
