NOTICE: STL files are in inches, scaled up 2540%. "Freedom units" indeed! So, I recently realized that my old LS pump grip was subpar, so I finally took the time to create a new one. This design sticks out from the front of the blaster and features a short barrel extension to make it less unsightly. Drawing inspiration from Blasterforge's (Phil) innovative idea, this pump grip incorporates ball bearing slider mechanisms for smoother operation. It utilizes four 7mmx3mmx3mm ball bearings available at Hobbyking or similar retailers. The full design is accessible on http://a360.co/2GS8Zht. The bars can be made from either 3x20mm aluminum, steel, or even carbon fiber. For the small sled bars, I highly recommend using steel (or 7075 aluminum) and tapping the holes for 6-32 or M4 threads. Screws: eight for the grip and eight for the sled. You can use countersunk #6x1/2" wood screws or M4x12mm screws. The design employs Torx drive M4x12mm screws, grade 12.9 for added strength. Weaker screws will also work fine, but I've accommodated for optimal performance. The sled bars are made from 6mm square steel, two pieces, .125" hardened steel dowel pin, and both measure 3.325" (84.5mm) in length. You'll likely need to grind down a longer pin to the correct length. Infill settings: barrel extension can be printed at 10-15%, grip at 20-40% (thick walls support bar mounts and bearing mounts), and sled pieces must be solidly printed. Additional information will be added upon request. Alternatively, you can use all steel for the sled portion and weld it together for even greater strength. If you choose this option, I recommend omitting the dowel pin due to potential welding difficulties and heat damage to a plastic sled and bolt.
