Longer top legs (+70mm)

Longer top legs (+70mm)

I have a rubber mat + Granite slab under the printer to reduce noise coming from the printer. I thought the original enclosure was a bit tight for my liking. This remix adds 70mm to top legs only and assembly instructions are the same for it as for normal enclosure, most decent length screwdrivers will reach the bolt and you will be able to secure the legs as in the guide.

Not providing a sliced version as my settings are way different from defaults.

Also as a nice touch I wanted to commend E3D and Prusa brands, which I am fully in love with and use my MMU2S unit to print their logos on the right top leg. I am including several version of the leg, for non branded legs, with only prusa logo, and also with prusa and e3d.

Just sharing it in case someone has need for this, it does add about 4-5cm extra room above the printer sitting on mat + granite slab.

Prusaslicer:

I originally printed this with PETG 0.2 layer height, however where logos start printing I used variable layer height and set it to 0.15, the “by” letters are quite small and didn't print perfect but still from distance looks nice.

Materials are PETG, infill 10%, layer at 0.2mm.

Also if prusaslicer complaint about units being in inches just ignore it. Somehow despite me saying I want mm on export from Fusion 360 prusaslicer still doesn't like it. The parts are in mm so just say NO when offered to convert or else the model will be downscaled and i am not sure if measurements will fit enclosure then.

Modified nothing else apart from making legs longer.
