Longer Nintendo Switch Jig for 1mm Paperclip
thingiverse
## Usage 1. Print and unfold the paperclip or wire (solder works well too). 2. Slide the Switch to RCM by moving it to the right side and hold VOL+ while pressing Power. 3. Place a 300-1000 Ohm resistor, approximately 8cm long, in the printed circuit. ## Debugging This design may not be perfect since this is version 6 of my test prints, but it works. I used an uncut paperclip with a lighter to burn off any coating, resulting in a satisfactory outcome. ## Design Decisions 1. Asymmetry proved best during testing. 2. Longer lengths allow for easier handling and reduce the risk of loss. 3. Thicker wire up to 1.2mm is recommended; my paperclips were mostly 1mm or thicker, requiring a larger design size. 4. A simple top design preserves a clean appearance, leaving ample space for additional designs.
