I was using wood infused filament and it turned out to be terribly abrasive! It wore a groove in my extruder in short order. I took an existing extruder and hacked on a piece so I could attach a Bowden connector and put a short piece of tubing on. This solved the friction problem in short order! I added a little bit of thickness to the spring mount to increase pressure on the filament. It works well with PLA and TPU filaments.
