Tundra trackers are great, but ever since I got them I noticed that while they work fine as foot trackers, they're not as good for waist tracking. I've been experiencing frequent loss of tracking, regardless of which tracker I use on the waist. I figured the tracker's small size works against it when placed in an area like the waist where it can be easily occluded by the body and/or clothes folding on it, so I modified the base to make it stick further away from the body hoping it would improve tracking. I feel its performance has improved ever since I installed the new base. It's still not perfect, but I think this size is a good compromise between good tracking and not having it stick out too much and get in the way of arm movement. This mod will make the tracker about as tall as a vive tracker 2.0. It uses the regular screws that come with the tundra trackers, I tried to design the screw holes so that they'll fit an average sized precision screwdriver bit in them. You will also need one 6mm nut to attach the base to a belt mount. the tightness itself should hold the nut in place, but the file includes a little lid to close the hole so that the nut doesn't fall off when you unscrew it from the belt. Didn't wanna figure out a fancy locking mechanism for the lid, so it's just a couple of pins holding it in. used a bit of glue on mine as well.
