Long-range Antennas Removable Mount for Fatshark
thingiverse
Print the small part in rigid filament, making it sturdy enough to fit snugly into place within the sliding assembly mechanism. At the same time, print the large part using TPU for a seamless integration with the SMA extension hex part. Position the small part below the faceplate fan of the Fatshark Goggles by first removing the shroud held in place by four small screws. Then, carefully insert the "Base" between the fan and the shroud. A 15cm SMA extension provides ample length to reach the "far" antenna if it features an angled connector on the module side. Printing without supports is possible. An updated version has been added, featuring a configuration that sets the antennas at a 30-degree angle relative to each other. This design might be beneficial for traditional diversity receivers where both antennas operate independently and coverage needs to be maximized.
