Long Dryer Holder for Silica Gel

<p>This is a double-wide redesign of my <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/144217-dessicantdryer-cage">Dessicant/Dryer Cage</a>, intended to hold desiccant packs in the center hole of a roll of filament in a filament dryer. Using the original desiccant holders in a two-filament dryer was a juggling match. This solves the head-butting by merging the two holders into one.</p><p>Depending on the size of your silica gel packs, you might be able to add more drying packs, too. In my case, I added three 20-gram packs of desiccant. The single holders held only one apiece. If you have loose desiccant you can make your own packs with nylon stockings or aquarium filter bags.</p><p>Prints easily in PETG without supports or brims. Printing time at 15% infill is about 4 hours.</p><p>I've also designed a <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/215761-dry-dock-for-filament-dryer-desiccant">Desiccant Holder that locks in place</a> in the center of the reel.</p>
