Long Blower Fan Duct
thingiverse
I required an extended fan duct for my delta printer, since my hot-end is mounted fairly high, leaving limited space for the fan. Unable to find suitable alternatives that worked effectively, I designed one myself. Apologies for the rough appearance of the parts; they were printed in sopping wet nylon, which doesn't exactly showcase their beauty. Despite this, it functions exceptionally well. If you decide to print it, you can determine how many links are required based on your specific setup. Alternatively, you can create a custom version from the On-Shape files provided at https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d048366c31a8780dc5d50f0f/w/acbbb8080b99b8b1bc5c9a48/e/2fdd3e67b086bacbf7427f40. This will allow you to customize the length of the nozzle, among other features. This design is specifically tailored for the typical AV-5015 blower fans. As seen in the images, it utilizes 3 M3 x 25 screws and one M3 x 22 screw, as well as an additional screw to secure the effector. For added peace of mind, I incorporated a cable tie, which can be observed in the first photo. How It Was Created Designed using Onshape software, this project was inspired by thing# 1600662 created by CdeB. Unfortunately, for some reason, I couldn't list it as a remix of his design.
