Lone Star Chain Links

This 3D model was designed specifically for the ultimate design engine challenge, week 2. The challenge card stated: "Another link in a chain..." Create an object that has two connectors on opposite sides, producing multiple links that can be connected together seamlessly. Two parameter cards guided this creation: Parameter card #1 - Summer and Parameter card #2 - Uniformity. A new expansion set was also introduced, Parameter card #3 - Lone Star. This model features a star-shaped design with two connectors that allow for endless chaining. The chain's length is entirely up to the user; simply print as many links as desired. Inspired by the Lone Star parameter card, this 3D model's theme echoes Texas and the iconic image of an old western sheriff. The object's shape closely resembles a vintage sheriff's badge. The Summer parameter card is met through the potential for fun pool or sandbox play during warm weather months. The Uniformity parameter card is satisfied by the design's solid, uniform shape, featuring a repeating pattern of connectors that creates visual cohesion.
