London Zoo Lion Head Statue
sketchfab
A high-resolution photogrammetry scan of the majestic lion head statue is captured from the visitor side of the Lion enclosure at London Zoo, revealing an uncanny resemblance to the Sasan Gir habitat found within the Gir Forest. By William Timym, a renowned expert in his field, this remarkable artifact was presented to the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) in 1976. In July 2020, 101 precise photographs were taken with a Sony a6000 camera and subsequently processed using the advanced Reality Capture software, resulting in an incredibly detailed digital model.
